Overview
The Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) is a four years (eight semesters) Undergraduate degree programme, affiliated to the University of Lucknow. It is designed to provide students with a wide range of managerial skills, while building competence in a particular area of business.This course is a career-oriented degree which provides a foundation in all aspects of commerce. Candidate should have passed Intermediate or equivalent examination with commerce or Intermediate with economics or mathematics as one of the subjects of study.
The 4-year programme shall lead to a degree “with research” as the student will complete a rigorous research project in major area(s) of study. For students completing a 4-year Bachelor's programme with research, there will be a 1-year Master's Programme. The 4-year Bachelor's degree with research will make students eligible for entry to Ph.D degree.
Degree Awarded (with Exit Options):
- Certificate at the Successful Completion of First Year (Two Semesters) of Four Years Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Degree Programme
- A Diploma at the Successful Completion of the Second Year (Four Semesters) of Four Years Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Degree Programme
- Basic Bachelor Degree at the Successful Completion of the Third Year (Six Semesters) of Four Years Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Degree Programme
- Bachelor Degree with Honours in a Discipline at the Successful Completion of the Four Years (Eight Semesters) Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Degree Programme.
Eligibility :
Intermediate or Equivalent examination with Commerce OR Intermediate or Equivalent with Economics or Mathematics as one of the subjects of study.
For General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates must secure at least 40% based on total marks of all subjects.
For Scheduled Castes(SC) and Scheduled Tribes(ST) candidates must secure at least 33% based on total marks of all subjects.

Fee Structure : Rs. 6,000 /- (per Semester) + Exam Fee
Program Outcomes(POs):
PO1: This program provides Industries, Banking Sectors, Insurance Companies, Financing companies, Transport Agencies, Warehousing etc., well trained professionals to meet the requirements.
PO2: After completing graduation, students can get skills regarding various aspects like Marketing Manager, Selling Manager, over all Administration abilities of the Company.
PO3: Students can independently start up their own Business.
PO4: Students will prove themselves in different professional exams like C.A , C S, CMA, MPSC, UPSC.As well as other courses.
PO5: Students will be able to do their higher education and can make research in the field of finance and commerce.
